Am I eligible for Dixby Secure temporary insurance?
To be eligible for Dixby Secure temporary insurance, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be aged 17–75 for private cars, 21 or over for commercial vehicles, or 17 or over for learner driver cover
- Hold a full UK or Provisional licence
- Have held your UK licence for at least 3 months if you’re aged under 21 – no restriction 21+
- Have been a UK resident for at least 12 months
- Be insuring a private car or commercial vehicle up to 3.5 tonnes, and worth less than £65,000
- Have no more than 6 valid penalty points and no more than 1 driving ban in the last 5 years
- Be using the vehicle for social, domestic and pleasure use, commuting, or Class 1 business use only
- Have the owner’s permission to drive the vehicle
