Which car do you need cover for?

Please note that we insure cars from age 17 (subject to insurer criteria) and vans from age 21. You need to have a Full UK DVLA issued driving licence or a provisional licence for car, or a Full UK DVLA issued licence held for 12+ months for van.

Am I eligible?

To take out temporary learner insurance you must meet all of the following:

  • Aged 17 or over
  • Hold a UK provisional licence
  • Must be accompanied by a full UK licence holder aged 21 or over
  • The supervising driver must have held their licence for 3 years
  • Private car worth less than £65,000
  • Owner's permission to drive the vehicle
